Local delivery. We deliver across Nowra and the Shoalhaven, up to Kiama, Shellharbour, Wollongong and the Illawarra, and down to Ulladulla and the South Coast. Pick-up is also available from our farm at 65 Coolangatta Road, Coolangatta NSW 2535.


Getting it established. Shaded areas take a little longer to root in, so give ShadePro a good start: prepared, level soil, a thorough watering-in and consistent moisture until the roots have taken. Once established, sensible mowing, watering and seasonal fertilising will keep it dense, green and soft. In shadier spots, mow a touch higher to give the leaf more surface for the light it does get.     ShadePro is bred to grow in areas receiving reduced sunlight and is at its best in yards with a mix of sun and shade. It still needs adequate natural light to stay healthy, so deep, all-day shade under dense tree canopy or on the south side of a tall building will challenge it, as it would any lawn.   • Is ShadePro soft enough for kids and pets?

    Yes. Its soft, gently folded leaf is comfortable underfoot for bare feet and paws. If pets are the main priority rather than shade, PetPro Buffalo is worth comparing too.

  • Will it recover from wear?

    ShadePro spreads through above-ground runners, which helps established turf fill small gaps and recover from moderate everyday wear when growing conditions are suitable. Recovery is slower in heavily shaded or cooler spots.

  • How does it handle dry spells?

    Once properly established, ShadePro offers good drought tolerance. Like any lawn it will look its best with sensible watering through extended dry periods.

  • Does it stay green in winter?

    With appropriate care, ShadePro is capable of holding attractive colour into the cooler months. Winter colour varies with frost, light and maintenance, as it does for every turf variety.

  • How is ShadePro different from PetPro or Sir Walter?
